    Residents of Mpigi in central Uganda collect water for household use from an area spring water point installed by Bega Kwa Bega, a grassroots organzation founded to improve life for rural orphans and vulnerable children.
    Internally displaced South Sudanese fill their water cans for the day at one of the many water stations in Protection of Civilians Camp 3, on the United Nations House compound in Juba, South Sudan. Each person is allowed about 11.3 litres per day for all usage. With no ground water in the area, trucks refill each water station on average, four times per day. More than 24,000 people live in the POC camps in Juba.
