    Save the Children, Uganda
    Children attend preschool at the Gogolo Play and Learning center near Entebbe, Uganda. The center is designed to not only be a learning center for small children but a revenue generator for Bega Kwa BEga (BKB, Shoulder to Shoulder) a grass roots organization the works to improve life through support of orphan and vulnerable children as well as dealing with healthcare, income generation, water security and food security in rural central Uganda.
    Lab technician Samuel Marko tests for malaria at the Munuki Healthcare Center in Juba, South Sudan. The center deals with maternity, malaria, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS and other common conditions. With funding from USAID, Jhpiego, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, operates the center.
