Dr. Vishu Jhaveri, senior vice president of health services and chief medical officer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona says that on key in getting a handle on obesity is preventing it in children, "a child (should be) getting five servings of fruits and vegetables a day, two hours or less of screen time, one hour or more of significant physical activity, and zero calories from soda. A lot of states have rallied around these concepts."
